As the year 2020 wrapped up, Sensor Tower has analyzed the performance of the top platformer games on the Android platform in Europe. Here's a look at how these games fared in the fourth quarter.

Subway Surfers from SYBO Games, a long-standing favorite, showed a steady download trend with numbers hovering around the 500K mark each week, peaking at 550K in late October. Weekly active users started strong at 7.5M but saw a gradual decline to 5.7M by the end of December.

Nintendo's Super Mario Run observed a significant spike in downloads in December, jumping to over 130K from around 80K in September. Weekly active users also saw a rise towards the end of the quarter, reaching over 539K.

Talking Tom Gold Run by Outfit7 Limited experienced its highest downloads at 394K in the last week of December, marking a steady increase throughout the quarter. The weekly active users mirrored this trend, ending the year with a high of 4.6M.

SEGA's Sonic Forces - Running Game witnessed fluctuating download figures, with a peak at 118K in early October, and a stable base of active users hovering around the 700K mark throughout the quarter.

Finally, Minion Rush: Running Game by Gameloft SE saw downloads peak at 91K in the third week of December. The game maintained a consistent active user base, ending the year just under 250K.
